Coach Ace's guide to Level 2Common questions
What is a USTA Level 3 tournament?
National and sectional championship play. Strong fields, including national events and sectional championships.
How many points is a Level 3 worth?
Main-draw points go by the round reached: the champion earns 900, the finalist 675, a semifinalist 450 and a quarterfinalist 315. The round a player starts in earns nothing, so losing the first match earns nothing from the main draw. Each consolation round won adds 32.
How should we get ready for a Level 3?
Start 4 weeks out. Coach Ace's free Level 3 guide covers what the day looks like, what to pack, the mental game, and food and water, with a 4-week plan.
