This tournament honors the life of A. David Filer, V. who lost his life in 2023 after a courageous fight with brain cancer. "Fight like Filer" became a known quote and inspiration to all who knew him.

Draws will be published Thursday 6pm
Singles draws are 32 MFIC with playoff for 3rd, 5th and consolation finals.
Doubles draws are 16 Single elimination. PLAYOFF FOR 3rd
Singles format - Best two of three sets regular scoring with third set as 10 point match tiebreak. First match times are 10:00 or 11:30 after doubles
Doubles format - 8 game pro set no ad scoring with 7 point tiebreak at 8 games all. Each day, doubles will start at 8:30 am and play a second round after singles is done Saturday end of day.
Draw publication & Start times - will be posted Wednesday noon before first day of event.
2. TOURNAMENT SITES
We are using two sites the first day. Ten courts at Baker Park site. Thirteen courts at Leeper site.
Saturday: Ward Baker Park (WBP) & Leeper (LPR)
Sunday & Monday: Leeper only.
Boys 16 division will play at Ward Baker Park on Saturday.

7. SCHEDULE OF PLAY
Day 1: 2 main draw singles, 1 cons singles, 2 doubles.
Day 2: 2 main draw singles, 2 cons singles, 1 Q-cons playoff, 1 or 2 doubles
Day 3: Finals and 3/4 playoff, 2 cons singles, Q-cons Final, Doubles Final unless played on Day 2.
8. PRACTICE COURTS
Playing sites will be available Friday from 4pm-8pm at no charge. Walkon sharing of courts.
Each morning courts at playing sites will be open 7am-8:30 am at no charge on first come basis. If not in doubles, their will be open courts "on site" for warm up.

11. ON-SITE ALTERNATES
Check in at the tournament desk where your division is playing. Onsite alternates will be accepted based on alternate list and must check in 30 minutes prior to the start of the first match. Please notify Patty at schrocktennis@aol.com if you plan to be onsite.

Format: All singles will be two out of three six game sets, regular scoring with match tie break in lieu of third set. Draws are FIC through round of 16. Doubles will be single elimination, 8 game pro set with set tiebreak at 7 all.
We will start each day at 8:30am with one round of doubles, followed by singles 10:00 and 11:30.
