Important Information

Due to the changes USTA has made to L6 tournaments the format for this event will now be a feed-in. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this format players who win their first round maindraw and lose their second round maindraw will be fed back into the backdraw. This format is 100% out of my control. The main draw format will be 2 out of 3 full sets, with 10 point tie-breaker as a 3rd set. Due to the increased number of matches in the backdraw (some players will do 3 matches a day) backdraws are now short sets to 4 with a 7 point tie break as the 3rd set. This is all assuming draw sizes are large enough to feed players in.

Matches that are 2 out of 3 set with 10 point tie-breaker are allowed to play 3 matches/day

Matches that are 2 out of 3 short sets are allowed to play 4 matches/day

Draw Size

If the size of the draw 4 players or more, it will be a regular feed-in draw. If the their are only 3 players entered, it will be a round robin format. This allows all players to have at least two matches throughout the tournament.

Practice courts:

Designated Free practice courts will be available on courts 1-4 from 7:30-8 AM. Maintenance team will not have the courts ready before 8 AM. DO NOT COME AND HIT ON COURTS BEFORE 7:30 AM. Maintenance team will be working hard to get the courts ready for the tournament during that time. Thank you

Will my junior get in?

No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.

What is a Level 6?

The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.

When do we know?
