Safe Play Reports
Violations (or a suspicion of a violation) of the USTA Safe Play Policy or the Proactive Policies must be reported to the USTA immediately. These reports, reports of emotional and physical misconduct, and any other suspicions you believe the USTA should be made aware of can be made by visiting www.usta.com/safeplay/report . Any suspicions of child abuse or child sexual abuse must be reported immediately to the local authorities and to the U.S. Center for SafeSport by visiting www.uscenterforsafesport.org .
Safe Play Approved Requirement & Additional Resources
The USTA does not certify coaches. As coaches for athletes, ages 17 and younger, are authorized by their parent/guardian to have regular contact with their minor child, the USTA highly recommends that parents require and confirm their child’s coach be Safe Play Approved. This includes completing a criminal background screen, training on recognizing and reporting misconduct, and acknowledgment of the Safe Play Policy which includes how to make a report. Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 1?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Thu, Dec 3, 11:59am EST). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.

CLAY COURTS MATCH PREP- B&G 16s - Both players are responsible for preparing the court for the next match. This will include sweeping the court with the broom provided, followed by sweeping the lines using the line broom. Thank you!
WITHDRAWALS AFTER DRAWS ARE PUBLISHED must be submitted at the tournament desk or by email to the Tournament Director ( rick1workman@gmail.com ), stating the reason for the withdrawal with a medical evaluation report for injury or illness.
Injury/Other Illness : Players may see the tournament trainer on site at the TA building to obtain the required written verification by the end of the day on the last day of the tournament. If the player does not see the trainer before leaving, a written medical verification form may be sent from another medical provider by the end of the last day of the tournament.
Personal Circumstance : If the withdrawal is due to a personal circumstance, the player must provide a written description of the reason to the Tournament Director by the last day of the tournament. The Referee will determine whether the situation is an excused personal circumstance .
INDOOR POLICY:
In the event of inclement weather, matches MAY be moved indoors. Because of the small space indoors & limited number of courts, only players with matches, officials and staff with credentials will be permitted indoors. Per USTA regulations, no guests or spectators are allowed inside when matches are relocated due to weather. All matches will remain available to watch via livestream. QR codes will be available at the tournament desk and/or the Welcome Center front desk.

• You MUST provide your name, hitting partner, requested time, and match time . Any texts that do not contain all this information will not be validated.
• Players may warm up for 30 minutes and may need to share a court.
• If more than one request is submitted by the same players sharing a practice court, the last request received will be the request considered.
• During high demand times, priority for a practice court will be given to players with matches. All courts are to have up to four tournament players. Coaches, parents, players not in the draw, and other tournament guests are NOT considered tournament players.
• Inclement weather may shorten the time assigned so that all teams have the opportunity to warm up.
• Please be courteous to other players, parents, and coaches. Unsportsmanlike conduct and conduct inconsistent with this policy should be reported and is subject to penalty under the USTA Suspension Point System.
• Practice court supervisor number to follow. PLEASE only send one text , sending multiple texts puts you in the back of the line. If you send one text, it will keep your position.
Please note there will likely be a delay in responding to your requests due to the volume.

Entering Two Divisions
The USTA National Championships permit a player to enter more than one age division. However,
it is important to understand the consequences of this decision. If you want to play in a USTA National Championship, but are unsure if you will get in, you may enter up to two different age divisions. When selection is done, players are selected for the oldest age division first. If a player is selected into the older age division entered, the player will not be selected into the younger age division. If a player is not selected into the older age division, the player will only be considered for selection into the younger division. If the player is not selected into either age division, the player will only be eligible to be an alternate in the younger division.
Singles Alternates
The Tournament Committee shall prepare an alternate list of players not accepted into the singles main draw that shall be used to replace withdrawing players. Alternates shall be ordered using the National Standings List used to accept players into the draw to fill remaining vacancies. Late entrants who are eligible for selection shall be listed below these players by the date and time on which the late entry is made. If multiple late entries are received at the same time, they shall be ordered randomly. Late entrants are not ordered by their position on the National Standings List.
USTA Eligibility Information: In order to participate in this event, the player must meet the USTA Eligibility requirements that are listed here .
Spectator Oath: All tournament guests, including family members, coaches and other spectators, must adhere to the USTA Spectator Oath: “I pledge to set a positive example for players, treat fellow parents, coaches and officials with respect, emphasize the importance of fair play and good sportsmanship, cheer respectfully for winner and good points - not errors and double faults, allow players to work out on-court disputes, and not interfere with matches.”
