PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use the National Combined Standing List for player selection and seeding.
Selection will use the September 11th Rankings off the NSL.
Flights and Seeding will use the September 18th Rankings off the NSL.
Players will be flighted/seeded by ranking 1-16 into the first flight, and flighted/seeded 17-32 by ranking into the second flight. If it's not a full draw, we will split the draws evenly. Also, we will not split draws with less than 16 players. There will simply be one draw for those divisions. For example, there are 17 players in a division. Draw A will have 9 players and Draw B will have 8 players.
Flighting process:
16 players or less: One Flight
17 to 32 players: Two Flights
Flight A will always have more players than Flight B if both aren’t full. Example: 19 total players. Flight A will have 10. Flight B will have 9.
If you have questions regarding the player selection and/or seeding, please contact the USTA Florida Section: brewer @ustaflorida.com
