Winter Challenge at Clearwater

Academies, Groups and Families:

If you are playing with a training partner, academy team or group...please advise the Tournament Director in advance so you can be split up in the draw.

Scoring Format:

Singles:

14U, 18U Boys & Girls maindraw matches will be best 2 out of 3 regular sets, No Ad scoring with a 10 point tiebreaker if sets are split.

14U, 18U Boys & Girls consolation matches will be best 2 of 3 short sets to 4, No Ad scoring with a 7 point set tiebreaker (difference of 2) at 4-4. If you split sets - play a 7-point match tie-break (difference of 2).

Doubles:

14U, 18U B&G maindraw matches will be One PRO SET to 8 with a 10 point tiebreaker at 8-8

Single elimination format (No backdraws)

All players across divisions may play 3 matches per day

Consolation Draw: (Singles)

Confirmation Required: Players must confirm at the tournament desk within 30 minutes of match completion if they decide to play the consolation draw. Eligibility: First Match Losers Only (FMLC) – no exceptions

Mandatory Participation:

If you choose to withdraw, you must inform the Tournament Director

Failure to do so will result in penalty points and a Default No Show status

Surface:

14U & 18U B&G: Har-Tru Clay Courts

Doubles Matches may use Hard Courts if necessary.

Balls: Dunlop

CHECK-IN & Reporting:

Report at the Tournament Desk no earlier than 15 minutes before your scheduled match time and BOTH players should approach the desk within 15 minutes after the match to record their scores. To avoid discrepancies that cannot be corrected later - TD expects both players to be present at the time of recording the scores.

Warmup: All players will receive a 5-minute warmup before each match.

Sweep Your Courts: As a courtesy to the next match, sweep your court (if played on a clay) before you leave the court after your match. Thank you!
