DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS & PARKING:

Saturday Parking Advisory: On-campus parking in the Tennis Complex area will NOT be available on Saturday due to other significant on-campus activities. There may be some parking available on lower campus, but if not, please plan to park along Manoa Rd or in the surrounding nearby neighborhood. Drop-offs near the Tennis Complex is allowed.

• Saturday Drop-offs : For Saturday drop-offs, enter Punahou School from upper campus, Piper's Pali, off of Manoa Road. Inform the parking attendant that you are dropping off a tennis tournment player. DO NOT PARK in the Tennis lot.

Sunday/Monday Parking: On Sunday & Monday, parking is readily available on-site within the Tennis lot, first-come first-served.

PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING

This is a singles tournament only. Draws are limited to 16 entrants. This tournament will use the most recent USTA National Standing Lists for player selection and seeding. The highest ranked entrants will be selected for the draw.

POINTS PER ROUND (Level 6)

This tournament carries with it USTA Level L6 points per round. Pursuant to L6 rules, no more than 4 matches may be played per division, therefore the finals of the consolation will not be played for draws that begin in the Round of 16. DRAWS and MATCHPLAY

Draws will be posted by Wednesday (10/7) at 12:00 pm HST.

Matches will begin Saturday (10/10) at 8:00 am. Last matches of the day will be scheduled no later than 6:30 pm unless inclement weather delays affect the schedule. Players in the feed-in consolation may play up to three (3) matches per day. The final rounds of this event will be played on Monday (10/12) , so please plan accordingly.

MATCH SCORING & FORMAT

Scoring Format. Main Draw will be best two out of three 6-game sets, no-ad scoring, with a 10-pt match tiebreaker played in lieu of a 3rd set. Consolation Draw will be an 8-game pro set, no-ad scoring, with a 7-pt tiebreaker played at 8-8.

Will my junior get in?

No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.

What is a Level 6?

The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.

When do we know?
