FLIGHTED DRAWS: READ CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING
16 or less players registered: one regular draw.
More than 16 players registered: players will be flighted (split in 2 even groups) by ranking (Combined National Standing List). The top half will be fed into the first flight (draw), and the bottom half will be fed into the second flight (draw). This means there will be 2 separate draws.
For example: 17 players are registered in a division: Draw A will have 9 players (ranked top 1-9) and Draw B will have 8 players (ranked bottom 10-17)
DRAW FORMAT
Feed-in championship through QF + 3rd/4th playoff.
SCORING FORMAT
Best of 3 Tiebreak Sets with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak in Lieu of Third Set and No-Ad Scoring.
PLAYER SELECTION
Singles: Top 32 players
Players selection will be made on Monday October 12.
Singles Selection:
The selection process will be based on the most recent published National Standing List Combined (NSL) at the time of player selection. If there are spots remaining after the NSL ranked players are selected, non-ranked players will be randomly drawn to fill the remaining spots.
Seeding Criteria:
The most recent published National Standing List Combined (NSL) at the time of player selection will be used for seeding purposes in both singles and doubles.
ALTERNATES
Once the player selection is completed, the players who are not selected into the draw will be placed on the alternate list and will not be charged.
In case of a withdrawal before the first day of the tournament, alternate players will be contacted in the order they appear on the alternate list to fill in the spot (if there are 2 flighted draws, alternates will fill in either draws).
On site alternate:
On the first day of the tournament, players need to sign in at the tournament desk as an onsite alternate before 8 a.m to be considered in case of a last minute withdrawal. Players that sign in as an onsite alternate will be listed in the order they appear on the alternate list, not the order of sign in. On site alternate players can only replace first round withdrawing players.
WITHDRAWALS:
Withdrawal request must be sent via email to adam@hawaii.usta.com and must state clearly and in details the reason of withdrawal.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 5?
A district-level event. Bigger draws, ranking matters for selection, points per win are higher than Level 6.
When do we know?
