Boise Club Tennis is a community-driven program designed to bring junior players together through competitive and fun tennis experiences. Built around a team based, league-style format, the program combines individual development with team camaraderie, ensuring players of all levels can participate, grow, and enjoy the sport.
Players compete in singles and doubles matches, contributing to both their own rankings and their team's overall standing. Beyond the matches, Boise Club Tennis emphasizes connection—fostering friendships, teamwork, and a supportive tennis community. With innovative formats and inclusive opportunities, it's the perfect way for players to challenge themselves while being part of something bigger.
The Competition
Our fall program runs for 7 weeks (optional 1-week Placement Combline) and is open to all competative players.
Program Structure
Matches: Players will be matched based on skill level

Days: Matches will be on Saturdays.
Club Formation: Players will be added to club teams
Club Size: Up to 20 players per club
Match Format
1+ singles matches and 1+ doubles/mixed matches per weekend
Players can play in as many events as they like.
Events include singles, doubles and mixed.
All matches are an 8-games pro-set (no-ad scoring) with a 7-point tiebreak if needed at 8-8.

1. Register on the USTA site – You may see a $125 fee listed “per event,” but please note it is a one-time $125 fee that covers the entire program.
2. If you have a preferred doubles partner, register on the USTA site so that you’re on the same team.
3. Browse Club Teams – You’re welcome to view club pages and even request to join, but rosters will not be finalized until after the Placement Combine.

Mark Nielsen was an NCAA All-American tennis player at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he was named Athlete of the Year and received the USTA Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Award. After college, he competed on the Northern California circuit, where he and his doubles partner, David Frederick, became the #1-ranked team in Northern California, winning four out of six tournaments.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Unsanctioned?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Fri, Sep 11, 5:59pm MDT). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.
