Welcome to the Colorado Springs National Level 3 for Girls & Boys 16 and under singles and doubles at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado! We consider it a privilege to host this tournament at the USAFA and look forward to having you with us for the weekend. As we have been approved to run both events as 32-player compass draws along with 16-team first match consolation doubles draws, we are delighted to be able to maximize the number of match play opportunities!
1. DRAW, SCORING FORMATS, DRAW PUBLICATION, EARLIEST MATCH START TIMES
In a full 32-player singles compass draw with no byes, players should prepare to play 4-5 singles matches (2 sets to 6 games, regular scoring w/a 10 pt. tiebreaker in lieu of the 3rd set) as long as all players play each round of the event. (Any byes would reduce potential number of played matches.) With first match consolation doubles draws, doubles teams should expect a minimum of 2 doubles matches (8 game pro sets) over the course of the weekend. (We expect all players who compete in this tournament to commit to the full event!)

This is an outdoor tournament where the schedule is planned as follows:
Saturday – Singles Round of 32 & Rd. of 16; Doubles Rd. of 16 & Quarterfinals
Sunday – Singles Quarterfinals & Semis; Doubles Semi finals
Monday – Singles & Doubles Finals

Will my junior get in?
Boys' Doubles 16 & under, Boys' Singles 16 & under, Girls' Doubles 16 & under, Girls' Singles 16 & under are full; the rest have room. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 3?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?
