From the tournament desk

Prize: Tennis Warehouse gift card for 1st place winners in each main draw. Amounts can vary based on draw participants($30-60).

Match Format : This is a 2-day, modified feed-in consolation tournament with a champion and consolation champion for each division. This will guarantee at least two matches per player. Players are permitted to register for One event in both singles and doubles.

Date and Times: Matches will take place starting on Friday September 11th starting at 3 pm and Saturday September 12 th starting between 8 and 10 am.

Draws Published: Registrations will close on September 11th. Draws will be published that same night. Draws will include days and times for both singles and doubles draws.

Match Details : Match format for singles will be best 2 out of 3 tie-break sets(sets to 6), AD scoring, with a 10-point tie break in lieu of a third set. Doubles will do a pro set to 8, tiebreaker at 8all.

Players should plan on playing multiple matches on Friday and Saturday especially if they are doing both singles and doubles.

** Alternate List : We have a set selection of 16 players per event, first come first served. Anyone who registers beyond the first 16 players will be placed on the alternate list. After close of registration we may make some events larger and will utilize the alternate list to move players into the division. This list will also be used to substitute in players in case of withdraw. Players are not charged until moved into a division.

All matches will take place at Westlake High School.

No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.

What is a Level 6?

The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.

When do we know?
