IMPORTANT SPORTSMANSHIP REMINDERS
All players, parents, and spectators MUST sign the Mid-Atlantic ACES Pledge and players will be REQUIRED to show their Mid-Atlantic ACES Pledge digital medallions or bag tag at check in.
All participants MUST adhere to the USTA Mid-Atlantic Sportsmanship Expectations; including The Do’s and Don’ts of Good Sportsmanship and are encouraged to nominate fellow participants as Champions on and off the court!

What is a DOMINANT DUO (Two-Player Team format)?
Players are paired with a partner and play singles and doubles as a team. Players will be placed in position 1 or position 2 for singles based on their ranking or rating, and then the pair will play together for doubles.
***PLAYERS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER FOR A L7 DOMINANT DUO EVENT WITH A PARTNER*** Priority selection goes to registered pairs. In the event that the draw does not fill with registered pairs, individual registrants may be selected and will be waterfalled from the bottom up by NSL after registration closes.

Positions and Seeding will be by World Tennis Number (WTN):
The position of each player on the team (Line 1 & Line 2 for singles) will be based on each player’s WTN singles rating. The overall seeding for the draw will be based on the combined singles WTN of each registered pair.
Draw and Match Format:
Draw limits: 8 Teams in all events.
Score format will be the same for singles and doubles and all matches will play No ad scoring
Depending on the number of registrants, scoring format shall either be one Superset to 6 games with a 7 point tiebreaker at 6-6 or one short set to 4 games with a 7 point tiebreak at 4-4
Anticipated Schedule (subject to change):
Players may be asked to go right from playing singles to doubles, or vice versa, however, there will also be breaks in the schedule for rest and recovery.
Level 7 events are played to completion in one day.

By registering for this event, players and parents are agreeing to be familiar with and abide by all aspects of the USTA Mid-Atlantic Junior Tournament Regulations . Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 7?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
When do we know?
