Players are expected to play all scheduled matches.

Flighting and Seeding will be by Ranking

If divisions are split into multiple groups (e.g. 32 players into two groups of 16 each), the groups will be flighted based on each players’ current position on the Combined National Standing List (ranking). FLIGHTING is a method of distributing players entered into an event into separate draws so that players of the same level are in the same draw and compete against each other. Seeding for Compass Draws will use each player’s current position on the Combined National Standing list, while Round Robin Draws will not be seeded.

Draw and Match Format:

Draw limits: 16 players per event.

Score format: one set to 6 games with a 7 point tiebreaker at 6-6. No ad scoring is permitted.

Entry Information:

By registering for this event, players and parents are agreeing to be familiar with and abide by all aspects of the USTA Mid-Atlantic Junior Tournament Regulations . Registrants must review and understand the Mid-Atlantic regulations and all of the tournament notes including the Entry Information section below.

REFUND POLICY:

Players are able to withdraw themselves online anytime before the tournament deadline. For instructions on how to withdraw, click here (to withdraw) . No charge is made until the player selection is completed.

IF A PLAYER SUBMITS A WITHDRAWAL REQUEST AFTER PLAYER SELECTION HAS BEEN PUBLISHED, AT WHICH TIME REGISTRATION CHARGES ARE PROCESSED, BUT BEFORE THE DRAWS HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED, THE PLAYER WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND BUT WILL RECEIVE A CREDIT TOWARD A FUTURE TENNIS CENTRAL TOURNAMENT.

AFTER THE DRAWS HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED, NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS WILL BE ISSUED IF A PLAYER IS SELECTED AND UNABLE TO PLAY FOR ANY REASON.

There will be no refunds or credits issued once a tournament has started and match play has begun. If the tournament doesn't happen wherein no matches are able to be played at all due to inclement weather, or any other unforeseeable event, a credit for the entry fee (minus the processing fee) will be issued towards a future tournament in the Tennis Central Tournament Circuit. This credit will last up to 1 year from the missed event.
