JUNIOR CIRCUIT TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

1 Day Tournament

Compass Draw OR Round Robin

Minimum 2 matches

Timed Matches OR 2 out of 3 short sets, no-ad scoring (matches start at 0-0, sets to 4 - at 3 games all, next game wins set). 7 point tiebreak for 3rd set (first player to 7 by 2)

Selections are based on registration date – 1st come 1st serve

Orange Ball - Players must use a racket that is no longer than 25 inches (63.5 cm)

Green Ball - Players must use a racket that is no longer than 27 inches (68.58 cm)

Spectator Oath: All tournament guests, including family members, coaches and other spectators, must adhere to the USTA Spectator Oath: “I pledge to set a positive example for players, treat fellow parents, coaches and officials with respect, emphasize the importance of fair play and good sportsmanship, cheer respectfully for winner and good points - not errors and double faults, allow players to work out on-court disputes, and not interfere with matches.”

Withdrawals and Refund Policy

Before the deadline, withdraw on USTA.com in the My Schedules tab on your profile. After the deadline, email the tournament director. Refunds are only available for the cancellation of the tournament. If there is a refund, it would be minus the Serve Tennis convenience fee.

Will my junior get in?

No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.

What is a Junior Circuit?

USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.

When do we know?
