From the tournament desk

Pearson Automotive Tennis Club is proud to host the Pearson Automotive Tennis Club Thanksgiving Open Tournament, USTA Level 6 Singles event for Boys and Girls 12, 14, 16, and 18 and Under. This event will be held indoors at the Pearson Automotive Tennis Club (4560 S 875 E, Zionsville, IN 46077). This event will be held using a Level 6 approved match format.

This event will be held Friday, November 27th, 2026 through Sunday, November 29th, 2026 (players need to be ready to play any of the three days, we will attempt to schedule events over a two-day period meaning players who start on Friday will play Friday and Saturday, players who start Saturday will play Saturday and Sunday). A few divisions may start and finish on Sunday. NO SCHEDULING REQUESTS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

As we did last year, we will consider running the event in 8 player groups in order to accomodate as many players as possible in this event. We will still be running 2 out of 3 sets with 10 point tiebreaks and players will get at least 2 matches (as long as other competitors do not withdraw from the event). This means there will be a maximum of 3 matches. Players who lose their first round match will go to the consolation bracket, players who win their first match but lose their second will not go to the consolation bracket and will be eliminated from the draw. In the event of a large number of registrations, we will not be able to accept all players. We will only accept entries in groups of 8 players.

Sportsmanship: USTA Central Indiana values having match play and competitors that encompass integrity, respect, honesty, and fairness. To emphasize the importance of good sportsmanship, the district has created a quarterly sportsmanship award. Nominate a junior player here!

MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE

As a Level 6 event match format will depend on the final number of entries, we hope to do 2 out of 3 full sets with 10-point tiebreak but will switch to a short set format depending on the number of players registered.

Format will be adjusted based on final number of registered players. We hope to get everyone at least 2 matches (if players do not withdraw) during the event.

TOURNAMENT FEES

1) If your credit card has been declined, the tournament director will be reaching out to you, and they will have the option to withdraw you from the competitors' list if you do not respond and communicate with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.
