USTA Tournament Parent Guide

SELECTION

Selection for this event is based on the time of registration (first come first serve).

Selections will be published by Wednesday, September 16th at 5:00 PM or earlier.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE - 16 Players Total* (Event Reaches Capacity)

1:30 - 3:00 PM Round Robin of 8 players

3:00 PM - 4:30 PM Round Robin of 8 Players

This schedule is subject to change based on court availability and registration numbers. We will make every effort to accept all applicants.

CHECK IN & LOCATION INFORMATION

Please check in at least 20 minutes prior to the start of your scheduled match time at the tournament desk. There will be a mandatory parent held meeting prior to the start of each round (around 1:15 and 2:45 PM) at the tournament desk.

MATCH FORMAT

If the event reaches the 8-player capacity, each player will rotate between 4 courts, playing a different opponent for 5 minutes each with a 1-minute break. The winner will be determined by the total number of "matches" (tiebreakers) won using one point per match.

We strongly encourage parents to volunteer as court monitors.

DRAW FORMAT

Non-elimination format. Round-Robin Groups of 8 singles players each (16 players total if event reaches capacity).

Draw and match formats are subject to change based on registration and court availability. We will do our best to accept all applicants, and may adjust formats based on the total number of registrants. This information will not be available until after the deadline.
