ELC: Players are given 3 unsuccessful challenges per set. If a set includes a set tiebreak, players are awarded one additional challenge. Challendes do not carry over from one set to the next set. If a challenge is successful, the player retains the challenge. If a challenge is unsuccessful, the player loses that challenge. For matches that play a match tiebreak in lieu of the third set, playersa re given one unsuccessful challenge for the match tiebreak.
The Evansville Tennis Center welcomes players to the Evansville Tennis Center. This event will feature Boys 14 and 18 singles, and Girls 14 and 18 singles.
Draw sizes and selections are dependent on total number of applicants.

We may use a compass, round robin, or modified feed in draw type. Scoring format depends on the number of players accepted. Based on the draw sizes we may use best 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 pt tiebreak OR we may use a short-set format with a 7 pt tiebreak.
Level 6 tournaments, which are considered USTA's more intermediate level tournaments, entry limits, draw formats, and scoring formats can sometimes be subject to change based on a variety of factors - number of registrations, court availability changes, etc. This tournament will carry Level 6 points. more info on USTA Ranking system

Players will be selected by USTA National Standings List (NSL) and seeded based on their National Seeding List (NSL).
Late entries will not be accepted.

All tournament matches are recorded and available for to rewatch at no charge. Downloaded copies are available at a nominal fee. Participants accept broadcast permission before play begins. WRITTEN NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR WITHDRAWS
After play starts, any player coded as "Withdrawal" or "Walkover" on the draw sheet must submit written verification (email) regarding the reason for withdrawal. The player should provide a detailed description of the reason for withdrawal, and if the reason is not for INJURY, ILLNESS, PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCE (Referee shall determine validity and may reach out for additional details), or previously authorized entry into another tournament, the player is subject to the Suspension Point System ( 2024 FAC pp. 113-117 ). Written verifications should be emailed to the Tournament Director and/or Referee no later than the last day of the tournament to be considered valid.
SPORTSMANSHIP

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection runs off the ranking list when entries close, and it runs differently at different levels, so whether a junior gets in depends on where they sit in this field. Add their USTA ID and we will tell you.
What is a Level 6?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament. Levels 6 and 7 pay per match won, capped at 4 wins: up to 95 ranking points for winning the flight.
