REGISTRATION CLOSE
Registration closes at 5:59pm EST on Tuesday, September 15th
PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use the most recent USTA National Standing Lists for player selection and seeding. The 16 lowest ranked players will be selected for the draw.

POINTS PER ROUND
This tournament carries with it USTA Level 7 points per round. For more information on ranking points, please click the following link: more info
TOURNAMENT FEES
If your credit card has been declined, the tournament director will be reaching out to you, and they will have the option to withdraw you from the competitors' list if you do not respond and communicate with them. No refunds after player selection.
DUAL ENTRY
Players are only allowed to be signed up for multiple overlapping events with written consent from both tournament directors. Players who disregard this rule are subject to suspension points.
DRAWS and MATCH PLAY
Player Selections will be published by Wednesday, September 16th at 5pm
Draws will be posted Thursday, September 17th by 5pm
Matches will begin at 4:30 pm Saturday September 19th, and conclude by 8:00pm.
TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN
All players must be present 15 minutes before the start of the tournament in the lobby of Birmingham Racquet Club for player meeting.
USTA MIDWEST ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
SINGLES
The 8 players will be randomly placed into 2 round robin groups. Each match will be a timed match of 30 minutes, normal scoring. Each player should try to accumulate as many games as they can in that time. Whichever player has more games at the end of the 30 minutes will win. At the end of the round robin, the winner of each round robin will play a 30 minute final match.
This format is subject to change based on signup numbers as needed.
TOURNAMENT FEES
1) If your credit card has been declined, you will receive an automated email from the system.
2) You have until noon on day following registration close to pay the entry fee.
3) The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors' list if you have not communicated with them.
4) No refunds after player selection.
PRACTICE COURTS
Practice courts will be extremely limited at the tournament facility, and will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. However, there are many indoor tennis clubs in the area that would likely have courts available to warm up at.

Questions parents ask
Will my junior get in?
Girls' Singles 12 & under is full; the rest have room. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 7?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
When do we know?
