Hello Parents,
We would like to share some important information regarding the Level 7 tournament schedule and what to expect on tournament day.
Level 7 matches will generally begin after the Orange Ball and Green Ball events are completed, which is typically around 11:00 a.m. However, players should be prepared to begin earlier if necessary.
All Level 7 players should also remain available for the entire day. Weather, including rain, may delay the schedule and require match times to be adjusted.
Because the schedule may change throughout the day, we do not recommend entering this tournament if your child has other events, activities, or commitments scheduled for the same day.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 7?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Wed, Sep 16, 4:59pm CDT). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.

Summary: USTA Chicago Zero Tolerance Policy for Spectators
To ensure fair play and enjoyment, USTA Chicago enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy on spectator behavior during matches. Violations may lead to immediate removal and additional penalties.
🚫 Key Rules for Spectators (includes parents, coaches, friends, etc.):
1. Spectators may not communicate with players during match play—verbally, visually, or electronically.
2. No speaking to officials about line calls or rulings during a match. Doing so will result in immediate removal.
3. Unacceptable behavior toward players, other spectators, or staff (before, during, or after a match) will lead to removal and possible suspension from future events.
4. Refusing to leave when asked will result in penalties against the player associated with the spectator.
5. Electronic communication (cell phone, smartwatch, etc.) with players is prohibited during matches—only allowed during the 3-minute break between 2nd and 3rd sets.
6. Officials/Tournament Directors are the sole decision-makers on-site and their rulings are final.

Entry and Withdrawal Information:
Pre-Deadline Withdrawals:
• If you need to withdraw before the registration deadline, you must do so through your USTA account at usta.com, under "schedule."
• Tournament directors cannot process withdrawals while registration is open.
• For assistance, refer to USTA Customer Care resources on how to withdraw.
Post-Deadline and Selection:
• After registration closes, player selection will occur.
• You will only be charged if your child is selected.
• Ensure your credit card information is valid.
• If your credit card is declined, the tournament director will contact you. Failure to respond and communicate may result in your child's withdrawal from the competitor list.
• No refunds are given once selections are made.
Day-of-Tournament Illness:
• If your child is ill on the day of the tournament, please TEXT the following information to 832-339-0232: • Player's Name

• "No-shows" will result in 5 suspension points.
Dual Entry:
• Please review the information regarding dual entries if your child has signed up for two tournaments on the same weekend. Dual Entry Policy

Emergency Withdrawals:
• Emergency withdrawals after the deadline will be handled on a case by case basis. Please contact the tournament director as soon as possible.
Weather Policies:
• Outdoor Tournament: • Please note that we do not have an indoor backup site.
• Rain Delays: • In case of rain, matches will be delayed until the rain stops and courts are dry.
• Multiple delays may occur.
• To ensure timely completion: • Match formats may be shortened to 6-game sets with no-ad scoring and a 7-point tie-break at 6-6.
• Consolation rounds may be canceled.
• No refunds will be given for rain delays, except in the case of a complete weather cancellation (see below).
• Weather Cancellation Refund Policy: • Tournament cancellation is a last resort.
• Cancellation will occur only when court conditions are deemed unplayable.
• Refunds, minus $15 for USTA Midwest/District fees, will be issued as follows: • Cancellation before the first main draw match: Full entry fee minus $15.
• Cancellation before the second main draw match: Half of the entry fee minus $15.
• No refunds will be issued once a player begins their second main draw match or for consolation/3/4 playoff matches at the time of cancellation.
• In the case of inclement weather, the tournament director will monitor the weather during the week and provide updates before selections are made. However, because weather is unpredictable, refunds may be given in the form of tournament credit.
Tournament Fees:
• As stated above, if your credit card is declined after selections, the tournament director may withdraw your child.
