MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
Match Scoring and Draw Format are dependent on the number of players in each division. The goal of the tournament is to have 4 matches scheduled for the winner of each division. This will allow the winner to get the maximum points for the tournament. The match scoring could be short sets, a full set, 2 out of 3 short sets with a tiebreaker to 7 points, or timed matches. We will use No-Ad scoring for all matches. All players will be scheduled to play at least 3 matches if there are 4 or more players in a division. The draw format could be Round Robin, Round Robin with Playoff, Compass Draw, or Modified Feed-In.
PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use the National Standings List (Rankings) for Selections (bottom-up). World Tennis Number (WTN) will be used for Seeding only in a Level 6 or above. THERE IS NO SEEDING IN A Level 7.

Questions parents ask
Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 7?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Tue, Sep 15, 5:59pm EDT). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.
