MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
Feed-in consolation draw (through the Round of 16). Quarterfinal losers will be fed into a separate consolation draw to playoff for 5th and 6th place. Semifinal losers will playoff for 3rd and 4th place. All singles matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tiebreaker in lieu of a 3rd set. 64 FIC-R16.
ORDER OF PLAY
SATURDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 1 round of consolation singles. SUNDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 3 rounds of consolation singles. MONDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 2 rounds of consolation singles.

TOURNAMENT FEES
1) If your credit card has been declined, the tournament director will be reaching out to you, and they will have the option to withdraw you from the competitors' list if you do not respond and communicate with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.
WRITTEN NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR WITHDRAWS
After play starts, any player coded as "Withdrawal" or "Walkover" on the draw sheet must submit written verification (email) regarding the reason for withdrawal. The player should provide a detailed description of the reason for withdrawal, and if the reason is not for INJURY, ILLNESS, PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCE (Referee shall determine validity and may reach out for additional details), or previously authorized entry into another tournament, the player is subject to the Suspension Point System ( Friend at Court pp. 114-119 ). Written verifications should be emailed to the Tournament Director and/or Referee no later than the last day of the tournament to be considered valid.

Admittedly, we do things a little differently from other organizations as we try to balance the needs of each competitor equally and help defray your costs as much as possible. All Participants accept broadcast permission before play begins. Individual cameras will not be turned off. Failure to accept these terms will result in a match default under the parental choice provision. more info
SITE LOCATION AND PRACTICE COURTS
Grand Rapids Racquet & Fitness will host all matches. The address is 4940 Plainfield Ave. NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49525. (616-363-7769) We are an indoor facility with 8 courts.
Practice courts: (Fair practice policies are in effect to give every participant an equal ability to acquire warm-up court time.
Friday: Reservation Court Rates: $24 per court hour.
Saturday: All participants will receive a minimum of 45 min of free warm-up time before play. Players with morning matches will have courts assigned to them from 7-8 am. Players with afternoon start times will have courts pre-reserved for them from 11:00 am-11:55 am *Sorry, no coach/ parent hitting or feeding. All courts will be utilized, so families or players with split times cannot be accommodated unless space permits. see the following.....

Eligibility: Players only. Coaches and parents are not permitted to hit or feed balls on warm-up courts.
Capacity: There are exactly 32 spots available for 32 players in each time block.
Scheduling Rules:
Matches before 11:00 AM: You may use the link to secure a court.
Put your name and a partners in the column next to you. You must sign up with a partner; please do not sign up as a single. (we will take care of singles on site relax we will help you....)
Matches after 11:00 AM: Your warm-up window is from 11:00 AM - 11:55 AM.
No Partner? If you do not have a hitting partner, please show up on time and the club will assign you a "hit" with another player.
Important Notes:
No Early Warm-Ups: Players with later match times may not use the early warm up early unless a space unexpectedly opens.
No Last-Minute Adds: We are unable to accommodate last-minute requests that show up late. If you don't have a pre-arranged hit, please arrive on time to be assigned one.

Wilson US Open Extra Duty Balls will be used. Awards will be given to Singles- 1st to 6th main draw singles, FIC Co-Champions
Stringing
Stringing will be available throughout the weekend. However, we ask that you be prepared. Tournament staff will not be available on Friday to string large quantities of racquets.
Sportsmanship and the USTA Champion’s Pledge : All participants shall familiarize themselves with The Code which is meant to be a guide to fair play. By participating in the tournament, all players agree to abide by the USTA Champion’s Pledge: “I promise to: Compete with the true spirit of Sportsmanship; Have fun; Always give the benefit of the doubt to my opponent; Manage my emotions and be respectful to my opponent, tournament officials, and parents; Play to win with grace and lose with dignity; Invest time in knowing the rules; Obey the rules and respect the officials’ decisions; Never quit!”
Spectator Oath: All tournament guests, including family members, coaches, and other spectators, must adhere to the USTA Spectator Oath: “I pledge to set a positive example for players, treat fellow parents, coaches, and officials with respect, emphasize the importance of fair play and good sportsmanship, cheer respectfully for winner and good points - not errors and double faults, allow players to work out on-court disputes, and not interfere with matches.”

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection runs off the ranking list when entries close, and it runs differently at different levels, so whether a junior gets in depends on where they sit in this field. Add their USTA ID and we will tell you.
What is a Level 3?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points. Points run off the round reached, not the draw size: up to 900 ranking points for winning it.
When do we know?
