PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use a combination of USTA Points Per Round and World Tennis Number (WTN) for player selection and seeding.
Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order:

MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
Modified Feed-In Draw. Losers of first 2 rounds will feed-in to the consolation draw. Semifinal losers will playoff for 3rd and 4th place. All singles matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tiebreaker in lieu of a 3rd set.
ORDER OF PLAY
SATURDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 2 rounds of consolation singles. SUNDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 2 rounds of consolation singles.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 5?
A district-level event. Bigger draws, ranking matters for selection, points per win are higher than Level 6.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Sun, Nov 8, 5:59pm EST). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.

After play starts, any player coded as "Withdrawal" or "Walkover" on the draw sheet must submit written verification (email) regarding the reason for withdrawal. The player should provide a detailed description of the reason for withdrawal, and if the reason is not for INJURY, ILLNESS, PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCE (Referee shall determine validity and may reach out for additional details), or previously authorized entry into another tournament, the player is subject to the Suspension Point System ( Friend at Court pp. 114-119 ). Written verifications should be emailed to the Tournament Director and/or Referee no later than the last day of the tournament to be considered valid.

🎾 Practice & Warm-Up Policies
To ensure equal access for all participants, "Fair Practice Policies" are strictly enforced.
Friday Practice:
Reservation Rate: $24 per court hour. Please call the front desk to book.
Saturday Warm-Up: (8:00-8:55am)
Free Warm-Up: All participants receive a minimum of 60 minutes of free warm-up time before play.
Confirmed Partners: Use the link below to secure a court only if you have confirmed a partner. Pairings will be assigned a court from 8:00–8:55 AM.
Individual Players: If you do not have a partner, do not pre-signup. Arrive 5 minutes early and we will match you with another player and a court.
Capacity: 4 players per court (32 total spots).
Restrictions: No coaches, parents, or 3-way hitting/feeding unless space permits.

Sunday Practice:
Free practice courts are set aside based on match times.
Priority: Competitors have absolute priority. Coaches and parents will be asked to vacate courts if space is required for players.
📅 Order of Play & Scoring
Singles Start: Saturday at 9:00 AM. All players will be in action by 11:15 AM.
Saturday Schedule: 3 rounds of main draw; 2 rounds of consolation.
Sunday Schedule: 2 rounds of main draw; 2 rounds of consolation.
Draw Format: Modified Feed-In. Losers of the first two rounds feed into consolation. Semifinal losers play off for 3rd/4th.
Note: Per Midwest Level 5 rules, there is no Quarterfinal loser playoff.
Scoring: Best of three tie-break sets (10-point tiebreaker in lieu of a 3rd set).

Stringing
Stringing will be available throughout the weekend. However, we ask that you be prepared. Tournament staff will not be available on Friday to string large quantities of racquets.
Sportsmanship and the USTA Champion’s Pledge : All participants shall familiarize themselves with The Code which is meant to be a guide to fair play. By participating in the tournament, all players agree to abide by the USTA Champion’s Pledge: “I promise to: Compete with the true spirit of Sportsmanship; Have fun; Always give the benefit of the doubt to my opponent; Manage my emotions and be respectful to my opponent, tournament officials, and parents; Play to win with grace and lose with dignity; Invest time in knowing the rules; Obey the rules and respect the officials’ decisions; Never quit!”
Spectator Oath: All tournament guests, including family members, coaches, and other spectators, must adhere to the USTA Spectator Oath: “I pledge to set a positive example for players, treat fellow parents, coaches, and officials with respect, emphasize the importance of fair play and good sportsmanship, cheer respectfully for winner and good points - not errors and double faults, allow players to work out on-court disputes, and not interfere with matches.”
