Counted within the last hour. Selection runs off the ranking list when entries close, and it runs differently at different levels, so whether a junior gets in depends on where they sit in this field. Add their USTA ID and we will tell you.

Will my junior get in?

The ID is on your junior's USTA account. We look up their published standing, read it against this tournament's entry count and its selection rule, and tell you where that leaves them. We never ask for a name and USTA never sends us one.

Withdrawal Policies/Procedures: No player refunds are provided after the player selection process has been completed. A withdrawal occurring after play has begun due to illness, injury, or personal circumstances requires written verification (i.e. a medical professional's note) to the tournament director before the end of the tournament weekend. If not provided, the player will have 4 suspension points applied to their player record. 10 suspension points in a 12-month period warrants a 3-month suspension from play.

After play starts, any player coded as "Withdrawal" or "Walkover" on the draw sheet must submit written verification (email) regarding the reason for withdrawal. The player should provide a detailed description of the reason for withdrawal, and if the reason is not for INJURY, ILLNESS, PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCE (Referee/tournament director shall determine validity and may reach out for additional details), or previously authorized entry into another tournament, the player is subject to the Suspension Point System ( Friend at Court pp. 114-119 ). Written verifications should be emailed to the Tournament Director and/or Referee no later than the last day of the tournament to be considered valid.

The director's own notes, as published on USTA. Ace reads these too.
