USTA LEVEL 6 Tournament Event Description
LEVEL 6 Tournament Top-down selection process: Higher-ranked players are chosen first. USTA WTN (World Tennis Number) will be used for player selection and seeding. High confidence WTN are prioritized for entry over low confidence WTN. World Tennis Number explained HERE.
The winner of the USTA LEVEL 6 Tournament is determined based on the round-robin match results. Each group consists of 3-5 players, and the player with the most matches won will be declared the winner. In the case of a three-way tie, the winner is determined by the percentage of games won versus games played. For a two-way tie, the winner is decided by head-to-head results between the tied players. This system ensures a fair and competitive outcome, highlighting the top performer of the tournament.
Please check the draw for your INDIVIDUAL START time. We do not individually notify everyone. Please Check-in 15 minutes before your match time and be ready to play. BE ON TIME!
Coaching is not allowed during the tournament. Parents and spectators are kindly reminded to refrain from providing coaching or instructions to players while matches are in progress. Our goal is to create a focused and fair environment where players can demonstrate their skills and make their own decisions on the court. Any coaching or interference will be addressed by the tournament staff in accordance with the event rules. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the integrity of the competition.

• A player may not get in due to a high demand and our tournaments have small capacity because of court availability but we will do our best to accommodate as many players as we can.
• Player selections will be based on top-down rankings.
• Players compete for USTA points
• Tournament selections are finalized after registration closes (two days before the tournament date after 6pm).
• Draws will be posted around noon day before the tournament.
• Matches will be scheduled on Wednesday. Only 1st match start times will be posted.
Match Schedule: This is a 2-day tournament. Matches will start PM (1 or 2 matches possible). 2nd day matches will be start PM (1 or 2 matches possible).
• PLAYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING THEIR INDIVIDUAL START TIMES ON THE POSTED DRAW
• After selection if your kid is on alternate that means they are on the waiting list
• Tournament format: Round Robin. Two short sets to 4, 7-point match tiebreak at one set all. NO AD scoring
• Draw formats and number of matches MAY CHANGE as well as match format based on the number of players signed up
• TOURNAMENT FEE is $83 for Level 6
• ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY: USTA Midwest has implemented a Zero Tolerance Policy. This policy will be strictly enforced at this event.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 6?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
When do we know?
