PLAYERS:
A maximum of 56 players will be selected amongst all age groups. Some players may be put on an alternate list which means they were not accepted, but may be invited to play if player(s) pull out of the event.

Please check in :15 prior to ALL match start times. Checking in means you are ready to play and you will be w/in earshot when you are called.
The format will be traditional sets w/no ad scoring. This means best of 2 tie-break sets to 6 games by a margin of 2 games with a set tie-break (first to 7 pts by a margin of 2 pts) at 6 games all. A 10 point match tie-break will be played in lieu of a 3rd set. If you split sets you can come off the court for :3, but must begin match tie-break immediately thereafter. You do not need to tell us you split sets.
We do not always have access to officials due to the number of tournaments happening at the same time. Parents: you are here to watch and are not allowed to communicate in any way with players while on the court. If there is a problem and there is not an official please ask the tournament staff for help. If you cannot refrain from communicating with players you may be asked to leave.
- Based on USTA policy, all sales are final once selections are made for the event- there are no refunds for event withdrawal after selections are made. Cards will NOT be charged before selections are made, or if you are not selected or are an alternate for the event. Alternates are not charged unless they are accepted when a player pulls out of the tournament. Please make sure your cc is up to date. Sometimes we charge players and the payment doesn't go thru.
- Selections for the event are made based on this criteria:
1. Number of total draws created between all events is calculated based on court space and number of registrants
2. The amount of 8 person compass draws (or 4 person round robins if needed) for each age group is evened out to minimize the number of players cut from each age division.
3. Once the number of draws for each age group is determined, applicants will be determined by the National Standing List. If you are not selected, you will be placed on the alternates list in order of ranking
4. If there are multiple draws in one age group, those draws will be flighted top to bottom, in flight A, B, C, etc.
For planning purposes, the earliest matches will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday. Start times are subject to change based on number of registrants and court availability. Selections will be made known by Wed afternoon and draws will available by Thursday afternoon. The youngest age groups start at the earliest times.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 6?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
When do we know?
