This is a JUNIOR CIRCUIT (ORANGE & GREEN BALL) singles event hosted by the USTA Southeastern Michigan District. Players must be 10 years old or younger by September 1st of 2026 to register.

SELECTION
Selection for this event is based on the time of registration (first come first serve). Round robin groups of 4 will be generated randomly. Players are guarunteed 3 matches if the event reaches capacity.
Selections will be published by Wednesday, September 16th at 5:00 PM.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
8 and Under Orange Ball Round (4:30 PM - 6:00) - Round Robin
Players will be divided into two pools of four each if the event reaches capacity (8 players). If the event does not reach capacity, players may only receive two matches. If registrations are below 8 players, the number of players in each round-robin pool may vary. Matches are 20 minutes each with a 5-minute break.
10 and Under Green Ball Round (6:00 PM - 7:30) - Round Robin
Players will be divided into two pools of four each if the event reaches capacity (8 players). If the event does not reach capacity, players may only receive two matches. If registrations are below 8 players, the number of players in each round-robin pool may vary. Matches are 20 minutes each with a 5-minute break.
This schedule is subject to change based on court availability and registration numbers. We will make every effort to accept all applicants.
CHECK IN & LOCATION INFORMATION
Please check in at least 20 minutes prior to the start of your scheduled match time at the tournament desk.
MATCH FORMAT
Timed matches spanning 20 minutes each. Players will rotate opponents after a 5-minute break, beginning at the conclusion of each match. No ad scoring. At the conclusion of the allotted time, the game in progress will not count towards the overall score unless players are mid-rally of a game-deciding point, in which case it will count.
Winners are determined by overall W/L record. If two players have an idential record, the winner will be determined by head to head match results, then percentage of games won.

Will my junior get in?
Coed Singles 8 & under - Orange, Coed Singles 10 & under - Green are full; the rest have room. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Junior Circuit?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Tue, Sep 15, 5:59pm EDT). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION & POLICIES
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY - USTA Midwest has implemented a Zero Tolerance Policy. Please click the link for more information, as this will be strictly enforced at this event.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Entries for this event close on Tuesday, September 15th, at 5:59 PM EST. No late registrations will be accepted.
SCHEDULING POLICY: Please arrive on time. If you arrive after your scheduled time, your child may incur point penalties. Please check this webpage for your start time. We will not communicate with each parent individually.
CONTACT POLICY: Please ensure your USTA account information (phone, email, etc) are up to date. If your contact information is not up to date, the tournament director and/or staff will be unable to communicate important updates with you.
DUAL ENTRY: Players are only allowed to be signed up for multiple overlapping events with written consent from both tournament directors. Players who disregard this rule are subject to suspension points.
TOURNAMENT FEES: The tournament fee is $45.00 after selections are made. No refunds after player selection. Your credit card will not be charged until selections are made. If you are not granted direct entry, you will not be charged, and your child will be placed on the alternate list.
If a credit card is declined, players will receive an automated notification. You have until Wednsday, September 16th, at noon to resolve payment. Lack of communication may result in removal from the competitor list.

If you need to withdraw after selections and/or draws are made, please email the tournament director.
Agreement & Waivers
By entering this event, players acknowledge and accept all tournament policies. Entry constitutes agreement to:
USTA rules, regulations, and Codes of Conduct.
Media release granting USTA and its partners the right to use player name, likeness, and performance for promotional purposes.
Standard liability waiver for all tournament-related activities.
To record their child’s tennis match, a parent must first obtain consent from the other parent. Both parents are then required to complete and sign the Video-Recording Waiver before any filming can take place. Forms are available at the tournament desk upon request. Parents who disregard this rule are in violation of our tournament guidelines, and therefore run the risk of their child being issued a code violation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
NO PHONE, EMAIL OR FAX ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED BEFORE OR AFTER THE DEADLINE. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER TOURNAMENT ENTRY DEADLINE HAS PASSED FOR WITHDRAWALS OR FAILURE TO SUPPLY PROPER DOCUMENTATION.
By entering this tournament, player is acknowledging receipt and understanding of all stipulations set forth above. By consideration of the acceptance of your entry in the Tournament, entrant does hereby for and on behalf of yourself and your heirs and legal representatives release and discharge the United States Tennis Association Incorporated (USTA), the USTA Sections, and District, and the Tournament, their officers, directors, employees, and representatives, of and from any and all claims and demands of every kind, nature, and character for any loss, injury or damage which you may suffer or sustain, by negligence or otherwise, in connection with any aspect of the Tournament or entrants travel to and there from. As a condition of your entry, you agree to abide and be bound by the Constitution, Bylaws, Standing Orders, and Regulations of the USTA, including without limitations, the Standards of Conduct, and all rules, regulations and penalties relating to the USTA Drug Education and Testing Program and Penalties. Entrant hereby consents to be tested for Prohibited Substances as defined in the USTA Standards of Conduct. Entrant grants and assigns to the USTA, the USTA Section and District, and the management of the Tournament, the right in perpetuity to record in tangible form and use entrant's name, performance, likeness, voice and biography, in any and all media (including the right to produce, display and otherwise use motion picture, still pictures and live taped or filmed television, and other reproductions of entrant during entrant's participation in the Tournament), and for all purposes, including, without limitation, for purposes of advertising and promotion of the USTA and the Tournament. Any such use of entrant's name, performance, likeness, voice or biography hereunder shall be without separate compensation to entrant or to entrant's heirs or assignees.
