Please arrive and check in for all matches 30 minutes prior to the start of your scheduled time.

There is a loser bracket consolation game. Please report scores to the registration desk to confirm your results and get match information for the next round.

The Seymour Smash is organized and hosted by the Seymour High School Boys and Girls Tennis Parents Clubs. We will be using the 10 courts at Seymour High School and as needed the 5 Trinity Lutheran High School Courts.

Players can register for one singles event, 1 doubles event and 1 co ed/mixed doubles event. The cost to enter 1 singles and both doubles events is $45. Discounts will be taken at the checkout. Draws will be limited to 16 players in each division.

All singles matches will be Two tie break sets, 10-point match tiebreak at one set all.

All singles players are guaranteed two matches

All doubles matches will be an 8 game pro set with tiebreak at 7 all.

All doubles matches are single elimination.

This tournament will not have USTA officials onsite.

Tourney Start Times

All Mixed Doubles will be played on Friday Night with the anticipated start time of 5:00 pm

All Singles matches will play on Saturday with the anticipated start time of 9:00am. There is a possibility of the championship singles matches being played on Sunday.

Boys and Girls Doubles matches will be played on Sunday with an anticipated start time of 11:00am

Will my junior get in?

No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.

What is a Unsanctioned?

USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.

When do we know?

Selections post after entries close (Sat, Oct 17, 5:00pm EDT). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.
