From the tournament desk
Tournaments will last approximately 3 hours. Times will vary by event, but in general matches may begin as early as 11 am and finish up by 4 pm. Click on the "Draws" tab to view start times. Everyone gets as many matches as possible with compass, round robin, or other non-elimination format (most likely 30 or 40-minute timed rounds w/ no-ad scoring). Every participant receives a commemorative t-shirt.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• "Alternate" status means players will only participate if they are contacted with news that a main draw player has dropped out. Players are alternates unless they appear in the "DRAWS" tab. DO NOT ATTEND if you are an alternate who hasn't been contacted.
• Please pose any pre-tournament questions to the tournament director PRIOR to the morning of the event.
Draws limited to 8 players and selections are based on National Standing List position.
Selection Process for Single Day Showdown: If a club has stated draw limitations or can only accommodate a limited number of players , a REVERSE SELECTION PROCESS must be used to assure that the less experienced tournament players are included in the selections first. Players must be selected in the following order:

Questions parents ask
Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 7?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Sun, Nov 29, 4:59pm CST). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.
