Date: Saturday (1-day event) Time: 8:00 AM - Completion (Players must be available for the entire tournament duration.) Important Time Notice: Start time could change due to weather. Location: Herb Salberg Athletic Complex (behind Softball Fields), College of DuPage, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 (Enter via College Rd off Park Rd)
Tournament Details:
• Crucial Commitment: It is essential that all participants are available from 8:00 AM until the completion of the tournament. Please do not register if you cannot commit to playing for the entire day, and the potential for a change in start time.
• Singles Format: 2 - 8-Player Compass Draw (If there is an odd number of players, a round-robin format will be used).
• Scoring: • 2 out of 3 short sets (first to 4 games)
• No-Ad scoring
• 7-point tiebreak at 4-4 in each set
• 7-point tiebreak for 3rd set
• Selection & Seeding: Top-down by ranking, seeding by WTN.
• Awards: 1st and 2nd place prizes, sportsmanship awards.
• Officials: USTA Officials present.
Important Information:
• Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled match.
• Warm-up: 5-minute warm-up with your opponent.
• What to Bring: Chair, umbrella, sunscreen, hat/visor, ICE water.
• Amenities: On-site bathrooms in the Fitness Building.

Please carefully review the following important information regarding tournament entry, withdrawals, and our weather policies.
Entry and Withdrawal Information:
Pre-Deadline Withdrawals:
If you need to withdraw before the registration deadline, you must do so through your USTA account at usta.com, under "schedule."
Tournament directors cannot process withdrawals while registration is open.
For assistance, refer to USTA Customer Care resources on how to withdraw.
Post-Deadline and Selection:
After registration closes, player selection will occur.
You will only be charged if your child is selected.
Ensure your credit card information is valid.
If your credit card is declined, the tournament director will contact you. Failure to respond and communicate may result in your child's withdrawal from the competitor list.
No refunds are given once selections are made.
Day-of-Tournament Illness:
I f your child is ill on the day of the tournament, please TEXT the following information to 832-339-0232:

Dual Entry:

Emergency Withdrawals:
Emergency withdrawals after the deadline will be handled on a case by case basis. Please contact the tournament director as soon as possible.
Weather Policies:
Outdoor Tournament:
Please note that we do not have an indoor backup site.
Rain Delays:
In case of rain, matches will be delayed until the rain stops and courts are dry.
Multiple delays may occur.
To ensure timely completion:
Match formats may be shortened to 6-game sets with no-ad scoring and a 7-point tie-break at 6-6.
Consolation rounds may be canceled.
No refunds will be given for rain delays, except in the case of a complete weather cancellation (see below).
Weather Cancellation Refund Policy:
Tournament cancellation is a last resort.
Cancellation will occur only when court conditions are deemed unplayable.
Refunds, minus $15 for USTA Midwest/District fees, will be issued as follows:
Cancellation before the first main draw match: Full entry fee minus $15.
Cancellation before the second main draw match: Half of the entry fee minus $15.
No refunds will be issued once a player begins their second main draw match or for consolation/3/4 playoff matches at the time of cancellation.
In the case of inclement weather, the tournament director will monitor the weather during the week and provide updates before selections are made. However, because weather is unpredictable, refunds may be given in the form of tournament credit.
Tournament Fees:
As stated above, if your credit card is declined after selections, the tournament director may withdraw your child.
