Sportsmanship

Get ready for the relaunch of the SuperSport campaign, which kicked off in 2024 in partnership with USTA Missouri Valley and the Match Tennis App. This initiative encourages sportsmanship in tennis tournaments and strives to create a positive experience for all participants, no matter their age or skill level. The player with the most nominations from January 1 to December 31, 2026 will win a trip for two to the 2027 US Open. For more details, click here .

The USTA Suspension Point System and Point Penalty System have been updated to expand when suspension points and/or Code Violations can be assessed to a player for unsportsmanlike conduct. The change states that a player can be assessed suspension points and/or Code Violations when they, the player, or anyone associated with the player engages in unsportsmanlike conduct. These changes apply to USTA Regulation IV and Table 17; Friend at Court 2022: pages 103 - 117.

No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.

What is a Level 5?

A district-level event. Bigger draws, ranking matters for selection, points per win are higher than Level 6.

When do we know?
