ALTERNATES
If you are an alternate for singles and registered for doubles with a player that has been selected for singles AND you desire to possibly play doubles only, I need an e-mail from you.
If you wish to be an on-site alternate on the first day of play, please communicate that intention to me and follow the guidance on the tournament website.
If at any time prior to the start of play you wish to withdraw from the alternate list, please send an e-mail.

1. DRAW, SCORING FORMATS, DRAW PUBLICATION, EARLIEST MATCH START TIMES
Singles Draw - Compass format. Each player is guaranteed four singles matches (assuming a full draw of 16 players).
Doubles Draw - Single elimination
Singles format - Best of three sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of the third set, regular scoring
Doubles format - One eight (8) game pro-set, NO-AD scoring, with a 7-point tiebreaker at eight (8) games all
Draw publication - NLT EOD Tuesday, September 8th.
Earliest Start times - Saturday/Sunday, 8 am with practice courts available beginning at 7 am
2. TOURNAMENT SITES & AMENITIES
The tournament is being held at the newly renovated Koch Tennis Center, 12440 West Maple Road, Omaha, NE 68164. The facility will open at 7 am each morning. At Koch, you’ll find locker rooms with showers (bring your own towel), a water dispensing unit, an ice machine, vending machines with drinks and snacks, outdoor patio and gazebo, and numerous shaded areas for watching play. We would encourage all players to bring ice with them from their hotel or home for the first matches of the day. Bottled water and rehydration drinks are available for purchase at the front desk inside the clubhouse. There is limited bleacher seating near each bank of courts, so we encourage you to bring your folding/camping chairs. Be advised, the City of Omaha has a policy restricting animals from not only inside the clubhouse but also within the entire fenced tennis center area, with the exception of certified service animals.

Will my junior get in?
Boys' Doubles 12 & under, Boys' Singles 12 & under, Girls' Doubles 12 & under, Girls' Singles 12 & under are full; the rest have room. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 3?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?
