From the tournament desk
This is an L4 Closed team event. Only players from within the USTA NE Section are allowed to enter. Players will be selected by ranking (NSL). There will be 8 players selected in each division B18s, B16s, G18s, and G16s.
Players will be water-falled, by gender, onto teams. There will be 4 boys teams and 4 girls teams in the two draws.
Each boys team will consist of two B18s and two B16s players; each girls team will consist of two G18s and two G16s players. Each team match will consist of four singles matches and two doubles matches (if a team match ends tied at 3-3, then total number of games won will be used as the tiebreaker to determine which team won).
All players are assured THREE singles matches and THREE doubles matches. Scoring will be best-of-3 sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of 3rd set (no-ad scoring) for SINGLES and one 6-game match - with 7-point tiebreak at 6-6 (no-ad scoring) for DOUBLES.
The event will be different this year. There will be three team matches during the weekend, so all players will play 3 singles and 3 doubles matches. It is hopeful that we will play two full team matches on Saturday and the final team matches on Sunday.
PLAYERS MUST WEAR WHITE TENNIS ATTIRE, WITHOUT EXCEPTION. HATS AND SHOES MAY HAVE COLOR. Players may not wear grass court shoes (with "nubs"); hard court shoes are permissible, clay courts (with herringbone soles) are probably best.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 4?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?
