Format
Attention all players!!! The tournament format for this tournament is a modified feed in consolation. You will play a minimum of 2 matches. If you win your first match and lose your second match you will be placed in the consolation. That is what is different from the first round loser consolation. Please check the draws constantly for updates as consolation matches sometimes are not played if a certain player loses. We try to update evertything in real time to make it easier to figure out your consolation match. The Scoring Format is best 2 of 3 regular sets with a match tie break for the third. For consolation matches 2 out of 3 no add short sets (first to 4 games win by 2, tiebreak is played at 4 games all) with a 7 point tiebreak played in lieu of a 3rd set will be used. Players are responsible for their start times. Good luck and have great tournament!!!

Questions parents ask
Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 6?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
Can we enter two divisions?
One event per player at this tournament. Pick the age group that matches your junior's birth year, or the one up if they are ready for it.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Sun, Nov 8, 2:59pm PST). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.
Text Coach Ace at (213) 410-2440 with your junior's name and division. Ace keeps the file: deadline, selections, draws, and what to do the night before.
-All matches will be played at the Lafayette Tennis Club unless indicated on the draws. We will play everything at the LTC if we have 120 or less players usually. If we have more plan on traveling to other locations like Northgate High, Granada High, Clubsport san ramon or Clayton Valley High.
- Courts will be open for warm up each day no later than 730am.
