Tournament Overview: This is a two-day “Open” Level 6 Tournament that offers intermediate competition. It is highly recommended that players first have success at Level 7 Tournaments before competing in Level 6 Tournaments. Residency in NorCal is NOT required; players from any Sectional Association may enter this tournament.

Singles Draw Size: The singles draw size is limited to 16 players; however, the Tournament. Committee reserves the right to increase this number of some if the events in this Tournament receive fewer than the draw size and/or permission is received from USTA NorCal to do so. Regardless of whether there is a draw limit stated on the tournament website, if the number of players entered does not permit separation of players into more than one event as described in this regulation, not all players that enter will be accepted.

Selection for Singles Draw: Players will be selected in the order their names appear on the most recently published National Standings List of the division . All players not selected will be placed on an Alternate List that is ordered using the same list used to select the players. Late entries will be ordered based on the time they are received. Late entries received at the same time will be ordered by lot.

Singles Seeding: Singles seeding will be done using the most recently published Singles Seeding List of the division.

Match Formats:

Singles Main Draw, Playoff for 3rd Place, and Round Robin Matches: Best of 3 Tiebreak Sets (6 game sets) with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak played in lieu of the 3rd set. If the score in the set reached 6 games all, a 7-point Set Tiebreak will be played.
