Counted within the last hour. Selection runs off the ranking list when entries close, and it runs differently at different levels, so whether a junior gets in depends on where they sit in this field. Add their USTA ID and we will tell you.

Will my junior get in?

The ID is on your junior's USTA account. We look up their published standing, read it against this tournament's entry count and its selection rule, and tell you where that leaves them. We never ask for a name and USTA never sends us one.

What it is worth

Levels 6 and 7 pay per match won, capped at 4 wins: up to 95 ranking points for winning the flight.

Wins the flight (4 wins)95
Loses the final (4 wins)90
Two wins40
One win20
One consolation win10

Standings points, before bonus points for beating a ranked opponent. What a result is actually worth to your junior depends on the six results they are already counting.

Player's Promise

“I recognize that tennis is a sport that places the responsibility for fair play on me. I promise to abide by the rules of the game, which require me to give the benefit of the doubt to my opponent. At all times I shall strive to compete with the true spirit of sportsmanship, recognizing that my behavior on the court is a direct reflection of my character. Whether this match ends with my victory or defeat, I promise to conduct myself in a way that honors my opponents, my team, those who support me, and the game of tennis.”

Coaching, interjection into a match, audible obscenities, physical confrontation or verbal confrontation deemed to be threatening or disruptive by a coach, spectator, friend or parent is unacceptable in USTA Northern and will not be tolerated.
