USTA Orange & Green Ball Round Robin Tournament @ Woodinville Sports Club
Join us for our USTA Orange & Green Ball Round Robin Event
You will play for 90 minutes at either 4:00-5:30 for Green Ball or 5:30-7:00 for Orange Ball
This is a sanctioned event designed for players who are ready to compete independently in a matchplay environment. Players should be comfortable serving, keeping score independently, and managing basic match situations . The goal is to continue building confidence, independence, and competitive skills in a structured matchplay environment.
Format, Scoring & Entry
• 4 player max for Green (1 group of 4)
Read the rest
• 4 player max for Orange (1 group of 4)
• Round robin singles format
• Players should be prepared to play three 25-minute back-to-back matches with 5-minute breaks in between
Scoring – Timed Matches (Game Format)
To ensure equal playing time, matches will use a timed continuous set format:
• Players compete in an ongoing set (games played normally, no-ad scoring, 15-30-40-game format)
• At the end of the time period, the player with the most completed games wins
• If the match is tied: • The player ahead in the current game wins, OR
• If no game is in progress and the score is tied → one deciding point is played
• The player due to serve next will serve the final point
• All players will receive either a trophy or a medal
Player Expectations
This event is intended for players who are:
• Comfortable serving and starting points consistently
• Able to keep score independently
• Confident in calling balls in & out
• Capable of handling basic match situations on their own
There will be an attendant on court, with staffing on site.
At this stage of development, parents are encouraged to refrain from involvement during matches . Players should work through scoring, line calls, and conflict resolution independently. The on-site attendant should only be involved if players cannot reach a resolution .
Schedule
• Possible start times: 4:00 PM for Green Ball or 5:30 PM for Orange Ball
• Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in
• Final schedule posted: 2 days before the event
Registration
• Registration closes: 3 days before the event at 3:00 PM
• Player selections published the same day
• No refunds after the registration deadline
Important Notes
• Always check your match start time prior to arrival
• The Tournament Director may also serve as Referee (USTA PNW Level 3–7 approved)

The registration for the sign up closes 3 days before the event at 3pm.
All withdrawals after registration deadline will not be refunded.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection runs off the ranking list when entries close, and it runs differently at different levels, so whether a junior gets in depends on where they sit in this field. Add their USTA ID and we will tell you.
What is a Junior Circuit?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
Can we enter two divisions?
One event per player at this tournament. Pick the age group that matches your junior's birth year, or the one up if they are ready for it.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Thu, Oct 1, 2:59pm PDT). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.
