NO REFUNDS/CREDITS AFTER ENTRIES CLOSE .

Please DO NOT ask for a refund or for a credit if you need to withdraw from the tournament after entries have closed. There are many fees and up front costs (sanction fee, USTA fee, courts, balls, refs, staff, etc) that are associated with organizing and running a tennis tournament. Those expenses are all based on how many participants enter a tournament and we do have to pay them regardless of play. Also, keep in mind that when a player signs up, that player takes away a spot that could have been used by another player who is ready to play. For all these reasons and many more, there are no refunds or credits once registrations close.

All matches played at Irvine Valley College. You do not have to be in high school to play in the 16s division.

We will have 7 groups of singles. 4 groups (1, 3, 5, and 7) will play at 8am and the other 3 groups (2, 4, and 6) will play at 10:45am. We will calculate the win percentage (how many games a player won/how many games a player played) of all the first place players from each group. The player with the highest percentage from the early round (8am), will play the final against the player with the highest percentage of the second round (10:45am). The final will take place at 1:30pm. All other winners of their groups will get a shirt and a hat but NOT a trophy.

Doubles will be played after singles. We will have 3 groups in total and we will have playoffs. All three winner will move forwards and the "best second place" will get a wild card to the playoffs. We will calculate the best second place by dividing how many games the team won/ How many games the team played.

Will my junior get in?

No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.

What is a Level 7?

The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.

When do we know?
