Azusa Pacific Open; Level 5
ALL FINALS ARE TO BE PLAYED AT 5:30pm at APU, unless told otherwise. The facility at APU will be open at 4:30pm for warm-up.
Please check carefully for the scheduled match time and location.
We will have 3 sites for this tournament: Azusa Pacific University "APU", Citrus College "CC", and Northview High School "NVH. Follow directions and locations given on the tournament overview page. If you are unsure of where your player's match is located, please contact the Tournament Director asap.
To ensure our matches start on time, players are expected to check-in 15 minutes prior to their match. It is a long day of matches and we will be enforcing late penalties, per USTA regulations. To avoid late penalties, we recommend arriving to the correct facility 20-30 minutes prior to your scheduled match time.

FORMAT
The format will be 2 out of 3 sets to 6 games with a 10-point tiebreaker played in lieu of a 3rd set; regular scoring (with AD).

NO COACHING DURING THE MATCHES
Coaching is only allowed during the 3 minute break before the 10-point tiebreaker.
Parents and coaches are allowed to help players get water, Powerade, and ice during the matches with minimal communication. All other communication during the match is not allowed.
LOCATIONS
Saturday Matches will be played at Azusa Pacific University " APU " , Northview High School " NVH " and Citrus College " CC ".
Sunday matches will be played at Azusa Pacific University only.
Finals will be played on Monday evening at 5:30pm at Azusa Pacific University.

Directions to Azusa Pacific University Tennis Courts:
The entrance to the parking lot is 601 E Foothill Blvd, Azusa, CA 91702 , it is the cross street of Foothill Blvd and Cerritos Ave.
When you enter the parking lot you will see a soccer field. The tennis courts are located North-East of the soccer field. The check-in table will be on the east side of the tennis facility.

• FROM THE 210 FWY, EXIT CITRUS AVE AND HEAD NORTH ON CITRUS AVE. (If you are driving west-bound you will exit the freeway and take a left at the light. You will then make a right onto Citrus Ave. If you are heading east-bound, you will make a left at the light onto Citrus Ave.)

Will my junior get in?
Boys' Singles 14 & under, Boys' Singles 16 & under, Boys' Singles 18 & under, Girls' Singles 16 & under are full; the rest have room. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 5?
A district-level event. Bigger draws, ranking matters for selection, points per win are higher than Level 6.
Can we enter two divisions?
One event per player at this tournament. Pick the age group that matches your junior's birth year, or the one up if they are ready for it.
