Parking
Closest parking will be Lot 4. If Lot 4 is full, Lot 3 and Lot 5 are the next closest ones.
If possible, arrive at least 30 minutes before your start time. The check-in desk will be located at the concession stand at Great Park which may be a 5-8 minute walk on its own. Also there are sometimes soccer tournaments that may be held during the same time meaning the parking lot closest to the tennis courts (Parking Lot 4) may be filled and you will have to park further away in either Parking Lots, 2, 3 or 5 which can add another 10-15 minute walk, so please plan ahead. I will do my best to keep everyone updated on the situation so make sure to check the tournament Overview section for any updates.
Warm Up Courts and Warm Up Procedure
For the warm-up court situation, Great Park runs on a court reservation system. So if you show up early you may be able to reserve a court, but just know there are multiple programs also being conducted during the same time, so court space will be very limited. My advice is to find a court off-site and warm-up there.
When the 1st round starts, the players are allowed a 5 mins warm-up with the opponents. If a player had a bye the first round, they are allowed a 5 minute warm-up in their first match. After that, players are expected to start immediately in their next matches.

Score Format : Scoring will depend on the size and type of your bracket. Please go over scoring with your child. They will be listed as follows.
Groups of 4 w/ Playoff Against Other Bracket : One short set to 4, win by 2 at 3-3, if set reaches 4-4, tiebreaker will be played to 7. No-ad.
Groups of only 4 w/o Playoff: One set to 6, 7 point tiebreak at 6 games all, no-ad.
Groups of 5 or 6: Same as Groups of 4 with Playoff. One short set to 4, win by 2 at 3-3, if set reaches 4-4, tiebreaker will be played to 7. No-ad.
Consolation Information

Will my junior get in?
Boys' Singles 12 & under, Girls' Singles 12 & under, Girls' Singles 14 & under are full; the rest have room. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 7?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
Can we enter two divisions?
One event per player at this tournament. Pick the age group that matches your junior's birth year, or the one up if they are ready for it.
