Important Note in regards to L4 Laguna Niguel and L4 Color Burst Team : You are only allowed to register for one of the tournaments. If you are selected into the L4 Laguna Niguel tournament, you may not register or be selected for the L4 Color Burst Team tournament since the deadline is January 21. Also, withdrawing from the L4 Laguna Niguel tournament in either singles or doubles (after being selected) and registering for another tournament within the overlapping sanction dates is considered an improper withdrawal and will result in a penalty of four suspension points. If you have any questions, please reach out to jcruz@scta.usta.com .
**Important Update** - On February 5, 2025, the USTA Southern California Junior Competition Committee voted and unanimously approved that: If you are in a two weekend tournament and withdraw (for any reason) from either Singles and/or Doubles (regardless of which partner withdraws) once the draw is PUBLISHED, you CANNOT enter a different tournament on EITHER weekend (applies to SoCal Tournaments only). Doing so is considered a double entry/ improper withdrawal and it will result in 4 suspension points and you will not be allowed to play in either tournament. A detailed explanation for the withdrawal must be submitted by email to the tournament director.

Questions parents ask
Will my junior get in?
Boys' Singles 14 & under, Boys' Singles 18 & under, Girls' Singles 14 & under are full; the rest have room. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 4?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Wed, Jan 14, 2:59pm PST). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.
