1. DRAW, SCORING FORMATS, DRAW PUBLICATION, EARLIEST MATCH START TIMES
Singles format - 32 FIC-16 (Best of 2 sets with a match tie break up to 10 in lieu of a 3rd set. Finals & 3/4 place will play best of 3 tie-break sets.)
Doubles format - 16 SE (8-game pro set (NO-AD) with a 7-point tiebreak at 8-games ALL: A 5-minute warm-up will be allowed at the beginning of each match. Single Elimination)
Draw publication - The draws will be posted Wednesday, Sept 9th by 8 pm Pacific Time.

-SATURDAY = 2 SINGLES AND ONE DOUBLES (Girls doubles will play in the morning Then boys will play Singles, then Girls Singles and last boys Doubles)
-SUNDAY = 2 SINGLES AND 2 DOUBLES (doubles, singles & finish with doubles)
-MONDAY = 1 SINGLES AND 1 DOUBLES FINALS (Morning Doubles)
(PLAYERS WHO LOSE IN Q.F. WILL GO INTO SPECIAL PLAY-OFF FOR 5/6TH)
CONSOLATION DRAW:
-SATURDAY = 1 SINGLES
-SUNDAY = 2 SINGLES
-MONDAY = 2 SINGLES
8. PRACTICE COURTS
PRACTICE COURTS WILL BE LIMITED & WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY ON FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS.
On Friday, at Lakewood Tennis Center practice for tournament players is free. (El Dorado Park is a charge) you can call and make a reservation at either site. limited availability between the hours of 4-6 pm.
On Saturday both sites will open at 7 am and practice courts are on a first come first serve basis. (you must share court if others are waiting 4 players no coaches if others are waiting)

9. STRINGING
Stringing service will be available throughout the tournament. Our experienced and qualified staff will be available to string from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM.

Will my junior get in?
Boys' Doubles 14 & under, Boys' Singles 14 & under, Boys' Doubles 18 & under, Boys' Singles 18 & under, Girls' Doubles 14 & under, Girls' Singles 14 & under, Girls' Doubles 18 & under, Girls' Singles 18 & under are full; the rest have room. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 3?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?
