MATCH FORMATS

ALL MAIN DRAW MATCHES WILL BE "BEST OF TWO SETS" WITH A MATCH TIE BREAK IN LIEU OF A THIRD SET. (FIRST TO 10 BY 2) - Regular Scoring

Consolation: Depending on your draw size you will either have first match loss consolation or you will also feed to the consolation if you lose the second match. you will have to check the draw closely or ask at the desk.

Players are required to play in the consolation. It’s ok if you withdraw from the consolation for illness, injury, or personal reason. What is NOT ok, is if you NO-SHOW from your scheduled consolation match. if you do this, you will be assessed 5 suspension points. (If your division has less than 16 players, the format for consolation may change.)

MATCH FORMAT CONSOLATION: One 8 game pro set, No-Ad. (7 point tie-break at 8 games all)

**Draws and match formats may be altered for cogent reason.

ALL PLAYERS WHO WITHDRAW FROM THE MAIN OR CONSOLATION DRAWS MUST EMAIL ERIC AT lakewood10s@gmail.com it must be received before your scheduled match, or you may face suspension points for a No-Show. Telling the person at the desk is not sufficient. we must have it in writing.

Seedings: Seeding will be based off the National Standings List

Selection Process:

Players will be selected using the latest USTA National Standings list when selection is made. Selections based on NSL rankings.

BALLS: "Wilson Regular Duty"

MATCH RECORDING:

All the matches played at Lakewood Tennis & El Dorado Park Tennis Centers will be recorded. you can purchase yours by stopping by the Lakewood Pro shop or emailing Eric at lakewood10s@gmail.com $35.00 for the first & $25 for the second. If you get a third it's $20.00 - NOW WITH SOUND!!
