Selection Process:

Players will be selected using the USTA National Rankings - Bottom - Up. This means that players who have no ranking are the first to be selected. Then the lowest-ranked players will be selected next. If we have more than the maximum players with no ranking, the computer will randomly choose the players. the rest will be put on the alternate list.

Match Format:

Each division will have a different total number of games per match depending on how many players are entered in each. it will be a format that will last 2 to 3 hours per division.

Group of 4 players - Plays 9 total games against each opponent

RECORDING OF YOUR MATCH OFFERED

All matches played at Lakewood Tennis Center will be recorded in HD. The recordings, in flash drive format, will be available for purchase by tournament competitors at a moderate cost. This is a great service that can be used as a developmental tool to move your game ahead or simply as a historical archive of your matches. Check-in at the Pro Shop to find out how to order yours. $35.00 (This fee will cover all rounds)

Refund Policy

• No refunds shall be issued for players withdrawing six days or fewer before the

start date or after selections are finalized.

• Refunds will not be issued for shortened or modified events due to external factors.

• If a tournament is canceled or rescheduled before a player completes their first

match, a 75% refund (after processing fees) will be issued.

• Once a player completes their first match, no refund will be granted.

• Electronic entry fees are non-refundable and separate from the tournament entry

fee.

Weather Policy and Rescheduling

• In the event of inclement weather or other hindrances, reasonable measures must

be taken to complete the tournament.

• This may include adjusting match formats or scoring methods.

• If completion is not possible, a new sanctioned date may be requested from USTA

What is a Level 7?

The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament. Levels 6 and 7 pay per match won, capped at 4 wins: up to 56 ranking points for winning the flight.
