Entry Fee: Players who fail to pay the entry fee prior to the start date of the tournament may receive two (2) suspension points (USTA Regulations IV.F - Table 17) and be replaced by an alternate in the draw or defaulted from the tournament.

USTA SoCal 2026 10U Green Ball Grand Prix Series
The USTA Southern California 10U Green Ball Grand Prix Series is for players residing in Southern California. Top point earners from each season will be invited to a two-day Early Development Camp, focusing on fundamentals and athletic development for 10U players.
All players will be part of the USTA Net Generation Pathway and earn Net Generation PlayTracker points. USTA Junior Circuits do not contribute to National rankings.
Eligibility:
To participate in the Green Ball Junior Circuit, players must meet one of the following criteria:
9 years old, or
Have earned 1,000 orange ball play points, or
Be at least 7 years old and have successfully been assessed by a Safe Play approved USPTA or PTR* certified coach who has completed the Net Generation assessment training. Learn how to use the assessment tool here .

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Junior Circuit?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Wed, Sep 16, 2:59pm PDT). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.

For every match won, player receives 8 points (max 4 matches)
The 10U Yellow Ball Grand Prix Series offers a supplemental pathway for 10U players who have earned the required PlayTracker points in Green Ball tournaments to advance to Yellow Ball play, before moving on to 12U Yellow Ball events.
Eligibility: Players must have earned 1500 PlayTracker points from 10U Green Ball tournaments, with at least 1000 points from wins.
Points: Competitors accumulate Grand Prix points (not Net Generation Play Tracker or National ranking points).
Standings: Points are displayed on the Match Tennis App , with standings published bi-weekly.
The top point earners from each season will be invited to participate in an end-of-the-season Early Development Camp.

Early Development Camp Selection:
8 girls and 8 boys will be invited to each Early Development Camp, based on their point standings in the All-Star Series Circuit
No wildcards will be issued.
In the case of a tie, the WTN (World Tennis Number) will be used as a tiebreaker.

USTA Junior Circuit events utilize a one day non-elimination round-robin draw format for players of all ages to gain match play experience in a tournament setting with a focus on individual results. This experience will encourage players of all ages to develop their skills through level-based play and demonstrate good sportsmanship.
10U Players are eligible to enter the USTA Junior Circuit event in the ball color (Orange or Green) they have achieved or lower as determined by the Net Generation PlayTracker.
Players 7 and 8 years old that reach 1,000 play points in orange ball are eligible for green ball. A coach assessment is also available for players 7 or 8 years old who have the skills to advance to green ball early. The assessment must be completed by a player’s primary Safe Play approved certified coach using the Net Generation mobile app. Learn how to use the assessment tool here . 10U players in green ball will be required to meet 1500 points on the Net Generation PlayTracker in order to play in yellow ball 12U + Junior Circuits or USTA Tournaments that offer national ranking points. 1000 of these points must come from win points. At age 11 players will age out of the Net Generation PlayTracker program. To determine a player's level and eligibility, log in and visit the player profile at USTA.com .
SPORTSMANSHIP CODE OF CONDUCT
Players, persons who appear to be associated with a player (including, but not limited to, parents and coaches), officials, and organizers of any tournament are under a duty to encourage and maintain high standards of proper conduct, fair play, and good sportsmanship. They are under an obligation to avoid acts that may be considered detrimental to the game of tennis. Detrimental acts include, but are not limited to, the acts set forth in USTA Regulation IV.C (Standards of Conduct). Friend at Court
Default No-Show Policy : Players are expected to play all matches including main draw and consolation. It is mandatory to notify the tournament director in written communication (via email) that a player needs to withdraw. Failure to notify the Tournament Director via email will receive a “Default No-Show” and 5 suspension points per the USTA Suspension Point System (USTA Regulations IV.F.)
USTA MAKEUP & REFUND POLICY
No refund is required beginning six days before the start date of the tournament or after selection is made, whichever date is later, if you withdraw from the tournament.
In the case of inclement weather, every effort will be made to complete the tournament in its entirety by changing the match or scoring format, if necessary.
If the tournament is shortened or otherwise modified in any way due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, refunds will not be offered.
If the tournament is canceled entirely prior to the player’s first match being completed, the player will be entitled to a 50% refund (after deducting USTA electronic fees), as the tournament has already incurred administrative and organizational expenses.
Once a player’s first match is complete, they are not entitled to a refund. Receiving a withdrawal/ default/ walkover counts as a match played as players receive ranking points.
The fee for electronic entries is not considered a part of the entry fee and is non-refundable.
DRESS CODE POLICY
The USTA SoCal Junior Sectionals Tournament and all officials of this event would like to inform the players of our expectations of proper attire while competing in this tournament:
ALL PLAYERS: No reference to drugs, violence, alcohol, or foul language may be depicted on player attire.
GIRLS: No sports bras or compression garments of any kind are to be worn alone; midriff must be covered when arms are at rest, and spandex shorts or capris must be covered by additional shorts or skirt.
BOYS: No cut off t-shirts, or cut off shorts. Sleeveless tennis shirts may be worn.

USTA SoCal's top priority is participant safety at all events. To that end USTA SoCal has adopted Air Quality (AQI 2.5) Guidelines using guidance from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). USTA SoCal and all organizers of USTA SoCal sanctioned tournaments and sanctioned leagues, and other USTA SoCal sponsored events shall use www.airnow.gov as the standard for local AQI monitoring.
