Welcome to Palm Desert Resort Country Club USTA Level 5 BG 14,16 Compass Draw Tournament. We are located in a beautiful resort city of Palm Desert in Coachella Valley, home of the ATP/WTA 1000 BNP Paribas Championships.

Matches will start at 8:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday.

This is a flighted compass draw event - 8 players in each flighted draw (flighted by WTN). Goal is to maximize points and guarantee each player 3 matches (assuming full draws of 8). We will be only increasing draws in increments of 8. Draws may be changed for cogent reasons.

All players selection will be based on National Standing List and the seedings will be based on WTN.
MATCH FORMAT :
All singles matches will be a compass draw format. Scoring will be two out of three tiebreak sets. If you split sets 10 point match tie break will be played. Regular scoring with AD.
All doubles matches will be single elimination. Scoring will be an eight game Pro set (no-ad).
**Draws and match formats may be altered for cogent reason.**
Seedings: Seeding will be based off WTN.
Check-in is 15 mins before your match. If you are late, USTA penalties will apply. For example, if your match is at 11:00 am, if you check in between 11:01 am - 11:05 am, you will lose toss and 1 game. 11:06 am- 11:10 am, you will lose toss and 2 games, 11:11-11:15 am you will lose toss and 3 games. At 11:16 am you will be defaulted.

DOUBLES PAIRING
It's VERY IMPORTANT to pair with your partner when entering in doubles. Your registration is not complete until BOTH players confirm and you receive a CONFIRMATION EMAIL! Please contact the tournament director BEFORE the entry deadline if you need assistance.
If you are looking for a doubles partner, there are two ways to find one through Match Tennis App . Once you have a partner, your registration is not complete until you are PAIRED with your partner via the USTA registration page. Players are responsible for finding their own doubles partner and pairing with them before the entry deadline.

Will my junior get in?
Boys' Doubles 14 & under, Boys' Singles 14 & under, Boys' Doubles 16 & under, Boys' Singles 16 & under, Girls' Singles 14 & under, Girls' Doubles 16 & under, Girls' Singles 16 & under are full; the rest have room. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 5?
A district-level event. Bigger draws, ranking matters for selection, points per win are higher than Level 6.
When do we know?
