Welcome to Patel Tennis Tournaments.
• 32 SINGLES PLAYERS AND 16 DOUBLES PAIRS WILL BE SELECTED
• Each division will take a maximum of 32 players, with possibility of exanding to 48 if possible.
• Singles: BU12, BU14, BU16 - We will selecet 32 players, with possiblity of expanding to 48 players
• Singles: GU12, Gu14, GU16 - 32 players
• Singles: BU18, GU18 - 16 players, with possibility of expanding to 32 players

• Match Format: • Singles: Best of two sets, 10 point match tiebreak in lieu of third set (regular scoring)
• Doubles: 8-game pro set, no-ad, tiebreak at 8–8

Check-In & Match Procedure
• Check-in: Minimum 15 minutes before your match
• Late Check-In Penalties (Per USTA Rules): • 0:01 – 0:05 late: lose toss + 1 game
• 0:06 – 0:10 late: lose toss + 2 games
• 0:11 – 0:15 late: lose toss + 3 games
• 0:16+: match default
• Doubles Check-In: Both players must check in together
• Restrooms: Please use facilities before checking in

Alternates & Entry Notes

Tournament Policies
• No refunds or credits will be issued after entries are processed
• All players must report match scores to the desk and check their next match
• Players must notify withdrawal in writing via email—no-shows without written notice will incur 5 suspension points under USTA rules

MATCH FORMATS
ALL MAIN DRAW MATCHES WILL BE "BEST OF TWO SETS" WITH A MATCH TIE BREAK IN LIEU OF A THIRD SET. (FIRST TO 10 BY 2) - Regular Scoring
Consolation: Depending on your draw size you will either have first match loss consolation or you will also feed to the consolation if you lose the second match. you will have to check the draw closely or ask at the desk.
Players are required to play in the consolation. It’s ok if you withdraw from the consolation for illness, injury, or personal reason. What is NOT ok, is if you NO-SHOW from your scheduled consolation match. if you do this, you will be assessed 5 suspension points. (If your division has less than 16 players, the format for consolation may change.)
MATCH FORMAT CONSOLATION: One 8 game pro set, No-Ad. (7 point tie-break at 8 games all)

Seedings: Seeding will be based off the National Standings List
Selection Process:
Players will be selected using the latest USTA National Standings list when selection is made. Selections based on NSL rankings.
• Both days Matches will start at 8 am.
• Main draw matches will be best of 2 sets, 3rd set 10-point tiebreak REGULAR SCORING
• Consolation matches will be 8 game pro-set (@ 8-8 7-point tiebreak) No ad Scoring
• Doubles: 8 game pro set. regular tiebreak at 8-8. No Ad Scoring

There will be crystal trophies for the main draw, consolation (Champion and Runner-up), and doubles events. (champions and finalists).

• SOME CONSOLATION MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED ON SATURDAY EVENING FOLLOWED BY MAIN DRAW SINGLES AND DOUBLES MATCHES.
• REST OF THE CONSOLATION MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED ON SUNDAY STARTING AT 8 AM.
• THERE ARE PLAYERS DRIVING FROM LA, RIVERSIDE, SAN DIEGO TO PLAY CONSOLATION MATCHES. PLEASE LET ME KNOW BY TEXT OR EAMIL IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PLAY CONSOLATION MATCHES.
• Consolation matches schedule will be updated within a few hours of your 1st match.
• Time will be posted on each round! Please pay attention to where and when your matches are!
Warm up courts:
• FVHS and BGHS : Available - Sat and Sun from 7:15 am to 7:50 am only. HBHS - 730 am on SAT only
• Sunday from 7:15 am onwards, If any courts are open, First come first serve, You may have to share your court!
• PLEASE NOTE: WE DON'T Guarantee warm up courts. You are welcome to use them if they are open!
• La Quinta High School tennis courts, Ellis Park tennis courts, Mardy Park tennis courts are located in nearby area. It's first come first serve!

DOUBLES PAIRING
It's VERY IMPORTANT to pair with your partner when entering in doubles. Your registration is not complete until BOTH players confirm and you receive a CONFIRMATION EMAIL! Please contact the tournament director BEFORE the entry deadline if you need assistance.
If you are looking for a doubles partner, there are two ways to find one through Match Tennis App . Once you have a partner, your registration is not complete until you are PAIRED with your partner via the USTA registration page. Players are responsible for finding their own doubles partner and pairing with them before the entry deadline.

4. Add your Name to the doubles partner list

Each division will take a maximum of 32 players, with possibility of exanding to 48 if we receive 48+ entries. Remember, 47 or less entries will not qualify for an extra flight. We have to wait until entry deadline for SCTA to approve an extra flight.
