UPDATE:

1. Format will be round robin with playoffs. Team matches will be 1 set of doubles/1set of singles. Singles pairing will be based on NSL at time of draw.

2. Scoring- 1 set no-ad scoring. Standard tie-breaker at 6-6.

3. Playoffs times for Sunday will be posted Saturday night by 8pm. Winners of round robin play will advance into playoff round.

Below is the parking website that you guys can use as the university requires parking pass ($11) to use the site. Please use EVENT parking when purchasing the parking ticket. You guys can park beside the tennis courts, LOT 9,10,11, any structured building, or next to baseball field. I suggest to pay the parking the night before so you guys are not in a hurry when you guys get to the site and PLEASE set a side an ample time if its your first time coming to the site because sometimes it can be challenging to find the parking. We have a water fountain under the bleacher of the track and field but I suggest to bring tons of water since it’s going to be hot this weekend.

LEVEL 6 DOMINANT DUO SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process for this tournament is by top to bottom combined NSL ranking of the two players. This means the highest ranked players will be selected first. Players with no ranking will be selected in random order. Players who are not selected will be placed on an alternate list.

This tournament is a Dominant Duo format where players will enter as same-gender doubles teams. Each team match will consist of 2 lines of singles and 1 line of doubles. The higher ranked player (by NSL) will play position #1 singles and the second player will play position #2. The two players will then play doubles together.

No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.

What is a Level 6?

The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.

When do we know?
