From the tournament desk

Due to low enrollment, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this weekend's Level 6 Tournament.

While we always look forward to hosting tournaments in Santa Monica, we also want to provide the best possible competitive experience for every player. In a Level 6 tournament, players earn ranking points by advancing through rounds, and ideally they should have the opportunity to play a full draw of up to four rounds. No registered players were charged and all have been withdrawn.

Come beat the heat this summer and play where the ocean breeze meets the courts. All players guaranteed at least two matches. Free snacks and give-aways for all players. All players should be prepared to play multiple matches each day. Be prepared to play both days, morning and afternoon. BALLS- US OPEN EXTRA DUTY

Will my junior get in?

No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.

What is a Level 6?

The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.

Can we enter two divisions?

One event per player at this tournament. Pick the age group that matches your junior's birth year, or the one up if they are ready for it.

When do we know?
