Consolation: We will have consolation offered if you lose in the round of 16 or Quarterfinals in all divisions. You will automatically be included in consolation if you lose so please email at TMXBurbankOpen@gmail.com or text (323) 775-2348 to notify the tournament desk immediately after your match if you do not want to play consolation. Telling the tournament desk you are not coming for consolation is not sufficient, as we don't always get the message. You can withdraw with no penalty but no shows will be penalized ranking points. To view...select 'Consolation' instead of 'Main Draw.' You can still earn ranking points for winning consolation matches.
We have potential 3 sites on Saturday and Sunday. Make sure to go directly to your site. You will not be given extra time if you go to the wrong site. The sites are coded on the draw: Burbank High School (BuHS), John Burroughs High School (JBHS), and Cal State University of Northridge (CSUN)

John Burroughs High School (JB HS) Address : 1920 W Clark Ave, Burbank, CA 91506 Parking is allowed on the street.
Selection: Maximum 32 players. 32 players are "waterfalled" into 2 equal draws of 16. Top down selection...highest USTA ranked players were selected first.
Scoring: Main Draw...first to win 2 sets with 10 pt. tiebreak in lieu of 3rd set no ad scoring. Consolation. Set to 8, 7 point tiebreak at 8-8. No AD
Do not plan on warm up courts being available at any of the sites. Players will have a 5 minute warm-up with their opponent.
Alternates: If you are an alternate you will only be contacted if someone cancels in your division before Friday 6pm. There are no on-site alternate options.
Tournament ball: Yonex Championship Ball
Trophies will be awarded for finalists in each age division for both blue and red draw.
Benches are available but may be limited, suggest bringing a foldable chair. Also an umbrella for shade.
On Court Single sticks and Score cards will be placed on each court
Snacks and water will be available.
Officials will be present.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 6?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
Can we enter two divisions?
One event per player at this tournament. Pick the age group that matches your junior's birth year, or the one up if they are ready for it.
When do we know?
