Thank you for your participation in the Tennis MechaniX Academy Burbank Open.
****To find draws and schedule, please refer to Tournament website. You will find a tab "DRAWS". Click on "DRAWS" then scroll through "EVENTS" tab and find the event that your child will be playing.Draws/ Round Robin format will be shown. Next to players name will be a "+" on mobile device or "VIEW MATCHES" on computer. A window will show up which will list matches to be played. On top of each match should show times and to the right the site where to be played.****. TWO SITES ARE USED FOR THIS TOURNAMENT. (BTC and BuHS) Please directly go to the correct site. Addresses are below.
BuHS ----> Burbank High School Marked Location 902 N Third St, Burbank, CA 91502 (Corner of N Third St and Delaware Rd) Courts are located on the Roof of the Parking Structure. Entrance to parking structure is on N Third St.
1) Please allow time to arrive as site may have some distance to walk to courts or trip up staircase/elevator.
2) Janine Baker will be the head USTA official for the tournament

4) Snacks and water will be provided for players. There are restaurants and grocery stores walking distance from the venues.
5) We will have benches provided for viewing but maybe limited. Please bring foldable chairs just in case. Also umbrellas for shade.
6) Please arrive at least 15 mins to site prior to first scheduled start time to check in and get formal introductions and any last minute details that will be announced before matches.
7) Scoring format: No AD will be played. Round Robin matches will play either a short set to 4, 7pt-tiebreaker at 4-4 or time based set. (tournament director will announce on site)
Note: Match format subject to change in case of default/no show/draw size.
8) Medals will be awarded.
9) No PLAYOFFS for any of the events.

Entry Fee: Players who fail to pay the entry fee prior to the start date of the tournament may receive two (2) suspension points (USTA Regulations IV.F - Table 17) and be replaced by an alternate in the draw or defaulted from the tournament.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 7?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
When do we know?
